Quick tips

  • Instead of salt, flavor your food with aromatic herbs, spices, lemon juice, or balsamic vinegar
  • Don’t put salt in water used for boiling food
  • Only add small amounts of salt after foods are cooked
  • Use vegetables with less potassium, such as onions, eggplants, peppers, and zucchini
  • Coat food in breadcrumbs using low protein bread (such as FLAVIS Crostini or crumbled FLAVIS
  • Fette Tostate) or coat the food in low protein flour before (i.e. FLAVIS Bread Mix)
